    Favorite "whatever" cartridges...

In this category I like the 307 Winchester. Had a M 94 with the high comb and it shot great. Should have kept it.

    Favorite European Cartridge?

We should add the non metrics too, good idea. I'm a big fan of the 308 Norma magnum and also had a stint with the 358 Norma too. Both are excellent for sure.

    Favorite European Cartridge?

Not sure if you were planning this one too @Blkram but here we go! Definitely the 6.5x55. It was my first 6.5 mm round and we still have one. It's capable of a bit more speed than the 6.5 Creed or my other favorite 6.5 the 260 Rem and fantastic accuracy. I shot my only wolf with a 156 gr...

    Favourite 308-Based Cartridge?

Definitely the 260 Remington, it never disappoints. After that: 7mm-08 358 Win 243 308 338 Federal.

    Favourite 30-06-based Cartridge?

Probably 35 Whelen for me with the 270 Win in a fast twist barrel close behind. They are all good rounds though. In order after those: 25-06 8mm-06 280 30-06 280 AI 6.5-06 338-06

    Blind Date

Won't be long till he's cranking out ammo for himself to shoot! You must have a gun already for him.

    What the hell?

Sounds like your scope to me. Could be something else but that's where I would start.

    Video that I hate

I'm certainly going to avoid any of the point threezothirty or point twozotwenty calibers from now on after watching this groundbreaking video.

    Update the .450 Marlin

Yikes that's some serious horsepower especially in a handgun.

Savage 110 Bear Hunter .375 Ruger

When I had my 375 Ruger Big Game worked so well with 260-300 gr bullets that I didn't try much else. The Sierra 250 gr and mono bullets of 250-260 gr is where I would look first. Of course if you can find them the 260 gr Accubond it's a great bullet. Took my grizzly and some black bears with...

Sure wish Nosler would bring back the .358 (and .375) ballistic tip

Looks like Nosler doesn't list the 358 200 gr Accubond anymore which is a shame. I hope they turn the 200 gr into a Ballistic Tip which would work almost the same as the Accubond anyway.

.308 180 grain partition gold group testing out of my 300 RUM

They were great bullets. I shot my only (so far) caribou with the 180 gr PT Gold from my old 308 Norma Mag. Pretty sure along with the steel cup they also moved the Partition up too giving it more shank.

Nosler 30 caliber 180 gr PPT Partition

Yes that's the bullet I was referring to. Don't know if it's a coincidence but I have had great results with the Semi Spitzer Partitions too, specifically the 160 gr 270 and 220 gr 308.

Nosler 30 caliber 180 gr PPT Partition

Yes I have in two different Browning 300 WSM rifles. In mine it grouped well under MOA so we tried it in a friend's with exactly the same load and had the same results. Can't say every gun will but it certainly is possible.

.338 Cartridges: What have played with? Which do you prefer?

That's pretty good speed out of an 18" barrel for a 225. I bet it becomes a favorite of yours to carry around. I believe they are getting close to 3000 fps with the 185 gr TTSX from the short barrels.

TDS is real, be careful out there

Not sure it was mentioned here but it has been reported a lot on the Patriot channels. With all the corruption being exposed now world wide it's a dangerous time for innocent people.
