    Shot the Tikka Swede

That’s a pretty easy shooting load right there.

    7/08 and 45-70 range session

Great shooting. That 7-08 is quite impressive for its weight.

    Keith on Partitions

Pretty good all arounders for sure.

    Kimber 7/08

Cool looking rig Jorey. I have a 2-12 on my Montana 7-08 and man that rifle is just a sweetheart.

    Quick load 6.5 prc 140AB

That little 6.5 PRC is a dandy cartridge. I kinda think it’s one of the best all rounders to hit the pike out of the new stuff. I tell folks I think it’s the modern version of the 270 Win since it is able To handle really slick bullets, uses about the same amount of powder as a 270 and is...

    Nilgai ?

I’d love to have to eat as well. From all I’ve heard it’s a premium meat. I’d be ears for a hunt as well. I’d take a bull or cow. The freezer isn’t prejudiced.

    Buy, Sell or Hold?

Agreed. That’s a deer rifle of the first order.

    Killing

With any animal for me after the kill I’m usually pretty elated. Some hunts come easy and some come after a lot of sweat, cold sits, sore eye balls, etc. So while I don’t get geeked up about killing per se, that is my goal or I’d carry a camera.

300 Win Mag / Barnes TTSX Ladder Test

That’s for sure excellent speed. Pretty much 300 wby speeds honestly. I’d gun the flat spot in velocity and tweak seating depth but from how it’s looking it won’t take much. Hard to argue with how well Barnes shoot. Awesome stuff TD.

    CVA Scout 45-70

Nice grab. Find some 300 grain Speers your 4198 will work great. They’ll rip around 2200 or so and will be a ton of fun. I love the big bores.

    35 Caliber bullets Vs. Bear

The 225 PT or Sierra is an excellent deer/bear bullet. I prefer the Sierra as it expands a bit wider leading to more blood on the ground. Either are great as is the 200 TTSX if you wanted to rip that one as well. Hard to go wrong with any of them.

Pre 64 M70 .264 Win Mag pet load

I don’t have a particular pet load but Retumbo and 130 grain ABs worked really well in my rifles, I’s ask if anyone has QL they could run for you but I don’t see 3200 being any big deal with That combo. I’d the H website will also have data to get you rolling. They were 9 twist guns so...

Will Nosler ever make an Accubond 100gr, or greater, in .243 / 6mm??

Boy, you sure would think so!

Quick load w/ CFE 223... for the 250 savage.

Sometimes low pressure loads can exhibit high pressure signs as well. Flattened primers by themselves I don’t much pay attention to mostly.

What's it cost these days to rebarrel a rifle?

I need to start sending my stuff that way!

    Preferred handgun hunting bullet?

I buy them. Used to by Montana Bullet Works but they had some tragedy and now I’ve been getting them from Mikes bullets out of Missouri I believe or maybe Arkansas. Haven’t shot any yet but on good reports they’re great.

    Reloading Help 25-06

I was going to type out a response but Jorey’s was spot on. I’m another user of slow powders in the 25-06, H1000, 7828, rl25 and 26, Retumbo. I wouldn’t sweat the numbers either myself. Look for good consistent accurate loads and the numbers will fall in place. Also, with H1000 I seem to have...

    Forester Co Ax press

I have had my COAX since about 2006 or so. Somewhere in there, and like if a lot Don. It’s really nice not having to mess with shellholders and it is also nice not spinning dies in and out. Once my dies are set, they slide in and out at exactly the same spot as the time before. I don’t know...

Going to run the big 8 again.

They sure do. I’ve been shooting some 223 grain ones they made. Very accurate bullets.

Going to run the big 8 again.

I have always wanted one of them myself and I remember through the years you have had a few of them. Pretty big medicine for stuff at sane ranges. The Hammers shoot real well and like you said, they’re fast as heck. Looking forward to seeing how you make out.
