I was taught in grade school that insurance was started by farmers who had to float their crops down river to market and there was a good chance a boat might flip. So they banded together and shared the risk. If one boat went over, the crops on the other boats were shared with that person.

Every kind of insurance has learned to squeeze. They share information with each other.
I signed up for life insurance (with an agent I met at a church camp ironically). We were playing on a climbing tower. I mentioned I used to teach beginners how to climb. He told me to list details of all I...
I don't think they will do as well as the wolves are doing. I live east of the Cascades and even tho some bears wander in here they wander right back. When they removed the whole wedge wolf pack just south of the border near the Kettle River, the WDFW had trail cams record 6 grizzly wander into...
I don't have a Creedmoor, but IMR 4350 has always worked as well as anything for 30-06. If availability or cost is an issue, I am finding Staball 6.5 has been having similar results at 2/3 the cost.
It is a round from my Grandad/Dad's collection. My Dad said they were too much of a good thing and tumbled at some point in use, not sure if he meant in flight or upon impact.
I tore that long head away in the top of my right arm. Moving a table without warming up. Surgeon said it will likely cause more pain and problems to fix it. He was the team doctor for a SoCal Pro baseball team and said the pitcher lost his weeks before the World series and was still able to...
Or like Biden unbanned Trump's offshore drilling ban.

Update,
Got thru by phone and spoke with Shawn. Couldn't tell me if forming from 300 would work without custom hydro die. He did say they made a batch of 375 Ruger in November. It must have gone fast. Maybe gunbroker. So it is not an orphan cartridge when it comes to brass, just a challenge or...
I appreciate the link. This is a budget project on a supposedly standard modern caliber. Buying the brass for the price of the gun isn't in the cards. It's a cast bullet shooter made of plastic, not a 1000 yard hunter. If I were going to use it for brown bear I would just buy some Nosler ammo.
Well Cabela's has 300 PRC brass on sale, plus members pricing and free shipping so I ordered 50 for under $60. Will try sizing and fireforming.
The thing that pissed my off was getting no response from Hornady. A good supplier will at least be honest and say, nope not making it, or if so when.
I posted about making it from 300 prc, got only maybes, (even asked Hornady, but again, no response). So has anyone done 300 prc to 375?
Found this on the Midwayusa site.

No one has had this brass in stock for years.
I see plenty of 9mm ammo. The local store has a limit of 5000 rounds per purchase at 18 cents a round. How come it's not worth it to make just rifle brass at close to $2...
I have some friends who live right on the beach of the salty Pacific. It is a must there to wipe down all ferrous surfaces for storage. And use a dehumidifier in the safe. They both use WD-40 and frequently run a patch thru and wipe down the outside with it when in storage .
Individual packaged...
