Charlie Kirk Shot in Utah Campus

Well, everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and opinions. The shot was easy yes, the rest of it, absolutely not. I'm not gonna sit here and take what any of our government tells us as gospel. This isn't the 1950s where we just say "well the FBI, CIA, or DEA said it, so it must be true"...

Charlie Kirk Shot in Utah Campus

The kid is a patsy. This was an orchestrated professional team event and carried down from the top. Take what the government and authorities say with half a grain of salt. Don't trust them as far as I can throw them. So many things just don't add up. If you expect me to believe a dum ass 20 year...

    25 Pronghorn

When was the last time the rifle was thoroughly cleaned? Being a 25 WSM, I'd be looking at carbon. Do you have a borescope?

    6 Creed testing

I'm sure it would shoot the 105 Hybrids equally as well or better, but I'm not willing to pay the price for them is all. If it was strictly a target/match rifle I would definitely give them a shot. But for coyotes, steel, and PRS the ELDMs will have to do. I've got 1500 of them to shoot up.

    6 Creed testing

Took my 6 Creed out yesterday evening after scrubbing the barrel clean and put 5 more factory 108 ELDMs through it to track barrel speed up and accuracy. When I first got the rifle, I bought a box of factory Hornady Match 108 ELDMs as a controlled test. My plan was to shoot 5 shot groups from...

    Please Read Before Reloading!

Ya, if that was the case, guys would just run a magnum primer in a standard case and get magnum velocities right? I don't think that's how it works sadly. I also don't believe it matters what case it's from. I've done primer testing from 222s through 300 RUMs and never seen such swings in...

    Got my 223 back!

Dropped off my R700 223 at the smiths few days ago. Had an extra MBM beast 4 port and figured I'd throw it on there. Has just enough muzzle flip to prevent spotting your impacts at higher power unless you were holding the rifle tight. The MBM beast 4 port brought it down to virtually nothing. I...

    Please Read Before Reloading!

Like I said above, it is definitely a Winchester primer issue. A simple Google search will show and tell all you need to know about them. But, I'll post some pics anyway. This was just on 1 thread over on AS, 4 or 5 different instances. So unless we all just forgot how to handload, I'd say...

    Please Read Before Reloading!

WInchester has been known to have a couple bad lots of primers the last few years. If you do a web search, you'll see several very experienced guys all have had the same issues. I blew 2 primers out and had 2 gas leaks on a 6 creed with Peterson brass at 1g below book max. I did a bit of...

    M70 coyote light 243

Guess I should add I don't want another barrel burner. I'm about over that phase in my life. And I want to buy Lapua/Peterson brass and load straight from the box. No more wildcats. I like to spend what time I have shooting, and less time at the bench. This maybe just a rumor, but I heard a new...

    M70 coyote light 243

Thought long and hard about a new 25 cal for a couple few reasons. First, the 25/06 was what really got me started into my LR shooting obsession. Second, they finally make some good heavy for caliber high BC bullets, and third a few nice new shiny .257" cartridges have come along. However, I...

    R700 223 Wylde @ 1040 yards

It's a lot of fun with the 223, that's for sure! Ya, it's right at about a minute of elevation. About as good as I'm gonna get with it, simply because 223 is just not known for low spreads. This load has like a 50 ES depending on the day. The CB was totally my fault. I thought it would be a...

    R700 223 Wylde @ 1040 yards

Took the R700 223 Wylde with 80.5g Bergers out again this evening. Shot 10 rounds at 1040 yards at the 20" plate. CB was just over the top, the next 9 is what you see. Wind was pretty light at 1-2mph and consistent, but every now and again it would pick up just a tad. 8 of the 10 went into...

    M70 coyote light 243

I'll be picking one of these up in a month or two. My cousin is selling it to me for a price I can't refuse. No real use for it, but I have a couple ideas anyway...I already have 3 LR rifles that weigh 16-17#. A 223, 6 Creed, 7-300 Win mag. So my thought was to make this a lighter alternative to...

    Universal reloading manual

I like having and using both to cross reference. Quite a few of my best loads have not came from a book, rather from my own testing/curiousity or working around someone else's pet load, of course after cross referencing. The hodgon manual is pretty decent for a quick do all on most of the...
