Curious, and this isn’t from the data provided, most load data I see includes H1000 and I see RL26 often, but I never see anything about Retumbo which is in the same burn range. Why is this?
I used to own a Sako 85 Bavarian in 25-06. Sold it stupidly and have regretted it ever since.
Well, found something and immediately bought it. Should be here tomorrow.
It’s a Sako 90 Bavarian in 6.5x55 Swede. Lefty, of course.
Can one of you fine gents run a QL for me?

There’s no way RCBS doesn’t make a die set for them at the very least. They still make 280 RCBS Imp dies for dang’s sake lol
I’m in the same boat as you Fotis. Very excited about this cartridge to the point I’m even chambering a barrel for it, but brass and dies are a sticking point at the moment
I really need to shell out cash for a Hornady OAL gauge. This method is finicky.
These are the only ways the specific bullet can be housed while having two drive bands in the neck. One measures 3.410” and the other 3.270”. There’s a little room for jump, but not much.
My previous 25-06s were all set up with 115gr partitions and they were all point and kill, practically. I will try the 120 in this one, set it up with retumbo and see how it rips.
Yes, the bolt is on the wrong side.
Here’s my most recent custom. It’s my second fast twist 25-06.
