    Current Production 280AI Rifles

I had an X bolt rebarreled. I asked my smith if there would be a problem getting the factory barrel off. He said, "not really". Everything went smooth but I never asked if he used any special method to remove the barrel.

    129gn ABLR

That doe was hit behind the shoulders and it sure wasn't pretty. LOL I've never used ABLR bullets myself but recently bought a few boxes to test for accuracy in my rifles. Generally, I'm shooting long, but you never know when a nice animal walks out in front of you. Last year I was watching an...

    129gn ABLR

I loaded the 142 ABLR in my buddy's 6.5Creed. He shot two whitetails with the load. A big 8 pointer was hit in the neck. The bullet blew the opposite side of his neck off. UGLY! Later in the week he took a doe with a broadside shot to the lungs. Another massive wound and giant exit. Both deer...

10 gauge semi auto or pump

I had a 10ga Browning auto and it wasn't that bad to shoot. One day I tried a guy's Browning10ga BPS. It only took one round to convince me that it was not for me. It was brutal.

    .264 130/140 AB

While sorting for bearing length on the ABLR bullets may be a good idea, I just can't see myself getting in that deep. I'd much rather move on to a bullet that doesn't exhibit that type of variation.

    Pulling factory bullets and replacing

I'd suspect that a Partition bullet, of the same weight, would have a lot more bearing surface and less compressibility. For those reasons, you will need to run a lighter load. I'd remove a few grains and then work up one round at a time. You should also check the distance from the lands with a...

    Hunting in North Carolina?

Halifax and Hampton counties have the highest deer density in the state. I've hunted there for many years. As an out-of-state hunter, all of my hunts were with an outfitter. Most of the properties were large tracts of farmland with interspersed wood lots. I like to hunt the soybean fields but...

Will Nosler ever bond a Partition bullet?

    The ABLRs that I just bought are .264 142gr & 175gr .284. I'll try the 142s in a 6.5 Creed and 6.5 PRC., and the 175s in a 280AI and 7PRC.

    Nosler 28 Reloading

No - most of my shooting/testing has been in rather comfortable weather. Temps only varied maybe 30-35 degrees.

Will Nosler ever bond a Partition bullet?

I tried the Partitions on wimpy little whitetails and the front core completely wipes off. That bullet performance didn't impress me. I used the 260 Partitions in a 375 Ruger on buffalo and got the same result. On the buffalo, I expected most of the front core to be fully expanded but not...

    Nosler 28 Reloading

Ramshot Grand indicates right on the bottle that it is "Temperature Stable". I've been using it for a year now and have never noticed any temperature sensitivity. Grand burns slower than H1000 IME and burns about the same as RETUMBO.

Moose Hunting Outfitter in the Yukon ?

I've had several successful moose hunts in Newfoundland. I was paying $,4000-$4,500 at the time. I'd imagine that you could do one now under $6,000. Dollar for dollar, that's hard to beat for a moose hunt. But no; you aren't going to see any 70" moose coming in at 2,000lbs either.

Load data for 22 creedmoor with nosler 70gr Accubonds and nosler 60gr partitions

Hodgdon's on-line data has loads for a 73gr Hornady. That would be a good place to start. Top velocity was 3,400fps with RS Grand powder.

    Barnes TTSX 130gr 308 Feedback

There's always been a bit of internet chatter about the Barnes 130 TTSX in the .308/30-06 platforms. Eventually, I decided to give them a try in my custom .308 rifle. Initial loads were ok but noting to get excited about. One thing that I noticed was that most common powders for the .308 seemed...

    7mmRM 175 Part Grand

Ramshot Grand and Ramshot Magnum seem to have the same burn rate. That might be a good place to start.

Got to Hand it to the Knockoffs

That knock-off looks like an exact duplicate of the Harris bipod. I'm surprised that they can get away with that. I have seen some other knockoffs at the gun shows that were the cheapest Chinese junk I've ever seen.

    New Reloading Bench Surfaces

JD Your reloading area reminds me of an Italian kitchen. Everything is museum quality and stays that way because all the real cooking is done downstairs where the commercial kitchen is that no one sees. :ROFLMAO:
