    Keith on Partitions

I like them so much I scrounged up enough of the discontinued pistol bullets to last me the rest of my life for my .50 muzzleloaders.

    Gaps in your caliber battery

I have a .223 but I’d like something more interesting in .22. I missed a 225 Win rifle a few weeks back on a local auction that would’ve sufficed. I also keep looking for a 7x57 because it’s much cooler than 7-08. I’d also like a 32 Win Special but not in a 94, a 64 would suit me. That would...

    This day 1969

I was closing in on my 6th birthday, my mom had my brothers and I come inside and watch it on a little black and white tv in beautiful Readsboro VT where we were spending the summer in a rented house while my father worked on a nearby road construction job.

    Hog Invasion.

I've looked at maps to see where there were hogs, trying to find somewhere not too far away to hunt them. While there are certainly established wild pig populations in many places, it still looks to me like 90% of them are in Texas, Florida and California.

    Hog Invasion.

I sort of have mixed emotions about the wild pig thing. I know they're bad.... vs.....I know it would be really fun to hunt them! While VT is painted yellow on the map, I think the Green Mountain state is pretty much hog-free.... Darn.

    Rare Sightings

October of 2010 while in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, my daughter saw an albino bull moose. In case you think she may have been seeing things, 3 of us saw it again a few day later!

    Northeast hunting rifle and caliber

In my neck of the woods, I'd say the 30-06 is the runaway favorite. Way behind, but still popular would be the likes of, .308 Winchester, 300 Savage, 35 Remington and 270 Winchester and the venerable 30-30. Then there is the occasional 300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag or 35 Whelen.

    I figured out....

I got this great reloading book too! Might be just a tad dated tho..... ...unless someone knows where I can get DuPont 151/2 powder?

    I figured out....

What was Hodgdon H570? I've never heard of that one, I'm guessing its long been discontinued. The can of BL-C was $2.50. Anyone know when those containers are from? I thought maybe late 60's or early 70's.

    I figured out....

.....how to beat the powder shortage. I built a time machine and went back a few years..... The sticker on the H570 is $1.50.

FOUND SOME .35, 200 gr Rem Core Lokts

It isn't so much that I was looking to get rid of it, more like I was willing to give it up for something I wanted more. If you are wanting to work a trade for it, PM me and maybe we can work something out.

FOUND SOME .35, 200 gr Rem Core Lokts

It took me awhile to find brass and I figured after that, bullets would be easy. Who would have guessed that 200 grain round nose .35's are so tough to come by.
