    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

It did and it took me a bit to move on after many different powders and lots of bullets. Both loved the accubond and ttsx though.

    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

You needed no push my friend, you knew what needed to be done but some times letting go and walking away is easier said than done. Doing the right thing isnt always easy but it always right. Even if it means admitting a bullet just isnt going to work. Ive had 2 338 caliber rifles that would not...

    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

I'd say it can shoot, doesnt look to picky either. Life's to short for a picky bullet when there are so many great choices, looks like you found a few. (y)

    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

The longer I hunt and shoot the easier I like things to be. I love working up loads but don't enjoy endless trips to the range trying to find the one load that seems to be inconsistant every trip.

    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

You picked a tough opponent for your first game. I like easy wins and generally pick a hunting bullet that gives in to accuracy with little effort. No need to beat myself up to prove i can do it. Never seen the appeal of the LRAB considering how picky they seem to be.

And the swift will hold up to the velocity for sure.

Either bullet is a solid choice.

I'll be watching the lrx as I too have been curious. Barnes has always been very accurate for me and kills with the best of them. I wish swift made a 200 scirocco.

Certainly nothing wrong with the 200 accubond if you decide to move on. I've shot the 200 accubond beyond 1k yards. Near or far the accubond can be counted on that's for sure.

That 3.645 load looks pretty good to me. I'll bet you stretch that one out a ways and you'll be smiling.

    .257 Norma Weatherby Magnum

I would load the toughest bullet I could find short of full metal and kill with the up most confidence. You have a gem to be sure, least that is how I see It, enjoy the caliber.

    .30 Gibbs

Looks like you did very well on your purchase and in a uber cool caliber to boot. Should run with a 300wm but in an 06 case, I like it.

    .257 Norma Weatherby Magnum

I'll bet that is caliber is flat shooting to way the hell out there.

That is one great looking rifle with a super cool caliber, I vote to leave it as is, I know I would.

That is fricken sweet Scotty, is it a ridgeline in a McMillan stock?

    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

Scotty that is looking real promising. For me retumbo seems to be at it's accuracy best when up close to max, lesser charges in .5 increments shot poorly. For me magnum has been the best accuracy powder in my rum over quite a large charge weight range. On a different note I would add one of...

    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

I love my 300 rum, it's the only elk rifle I've never sold after killing a bull and it has 4 to its credit over the recent years. I do need to get it out and shoot it more.

    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

I'm with Don on the 200 accubond. With the speed and accuracy I'm getting I doubt I could improve considering the loose nut behind the recoil pad.

    300 RUM 210 ABLR RL33/Retumbo

I understand not seeing the velocity one hopes for, hell my 35 won't get the velocity your 35 gets but it is what it is and I'm ok with it. You'll get the speed up I'm certain of that.
