If it’s the one I’m thinking of that guy just hammers those pigs. Think there’s a YouTube

That’s some pretty fair shooting with a 7 mag.
Oh, a word to the wise.
Be careful of wind direction and speed when jug testing.
The amount of water and distance it can go with a stout wind is amazing.
I didn’t pay attention to the wind (got in a hurry)and it was really blowing. 20-30 feet away for a real bullet torture test. Blam. I think...
Central Ohio if that’s closer?
The guys have given you good advice.
Mine is get a second scale. Example, if you buy a digital then pick up a good beam scales. Check loads on both every so often.
Some digital scales and powder measures don’t like the ballasts on flourescent lighting. Sometimes...
Any of those mentioned will do fine.
I wouldn’t let an 8 twist deter me either. Like Scotty said a little extra spin isn’t going to hurt you and since your objective is to shoot a longer bonded bullet the extra spin won’t hurt at all imo. Just make sure you get the throat and freebore you want.

The other guys pretty much covered it.
To answer your fast twist 22-250 question; imo yes. I just built a 22-250 AI in a 7 twist for heavies. Should be pretty much what the 22 Creed is but without the good brass (my preference would be Alpha for that if that matters?)
The original wildcats...
Don’t know if this helps but what I do (along with false shoulders) is load toward the top end of the standard loading. Having no standard in the Mashburn, i talked to Scotty and used the 4350 load.
The coyotes do not like the .224 88gr ELD Match. Puts them down quickly and always blows through.
As said above, I’d think the 108 would be fine behind a deer’s shoulder.
You are correct.
Obviously, you can verify by taking the same load out in varying temperatures or chill some, warm some, etc. then run them across the chrono.
No offense taken.
It just appeared to me that may be shortening the equation a little but from 86.2 or .4 to 87.4 the true variance was only about 8 FPS. Big flat imo. I actually kind of like 86.8 but he was already at 87 with a decent SD and ES.
Guess maybe I simplified it a little.
And ditto...
You might be pretty close to the middle at 87. I might try a few at 86.8 just for fun.
That ES and SD at 87 is nice though. If it’d group for you and you’re ok with speed then you might be done.
Not brushing you off at all but pretty much all you’re wondering about is on this post

Once you run through the first few pages if you’re still having issues let me know. I’d be glad to help any way I can.
Cool rifle Guy. Looks fun.
Don’t know what brass you’re considering but I’d highly recommend these guys. Haven’t used their 6 Creed but their 260 brass is awesome.
