Whichever scope you choose I would recommend that you use Ruger extension rings to get addition flexibility with setback. I'm using them on all of my Ruger #1s

I don't think you will see Hornady offering the WSM or Winchester the PRC, since they are not going to kill their own products. Federal and Remington are offering ammunition in both for now.
