    Help

Shouldn't have to do all that just to get under an inch. H4831 and 150gr BT usually works in the 7mag. I'd try the 150 Bt's, or a standard cup and core flat base bullet.

    Help

7 Mag should have an OAL around 3.40. STW has an oal of 3.60 3.84 is a really long mag. Doesn't sound like a 7 Mag to me.

    Mod. 70

The PF Winchesters are under rated. They are great guns for the money, and will really shoot.

    Winchester Model 70 safety

Gunscrubber spray? Yep!!, Get in their with the little extension, and spray the heck out of it!! But the extension right against the ball, and spray the heck out of it, while pushing it in and out. Works for me.

    Howa 1500

Yes, it's a good price. If I was in the market for a .308, I would buy it.

    Swede on the range

NV, I've had good luck with H4831 behind the 130gr Accubonds. Might be worth a try.

    7mm Remington magnum

Tyson, if you have a 26" tube, and are willing to load them up to max, you should be fine with the 175's. Too often I've seen noobs load the 175, and think they needed to "down load for accuracy". They take a lung shot on a elk, it put a .284 hole going in, and a .285 hole going out.....and the...

    7mm Remington magnum

Hmmm, what would the BC be on a 260gr Accubond? Hey MO, can you get to work on that for us?? :P Yea, the 160 is my bullet. Elk and Moose are big critters. If you want to take away their lungs, you want to put BIG holes in them. I've seen several elk lost with the 175gr Partition on lung...

    64 grain BSB Availability

Andy, I think they were a special run for someone. I know Nosler isn't currently marketing the BSB, but I sure would like to see this little bullet in their regular lineup. If I ever see them in the proshop again, you guys better be quick or I will buy them all!

    7mm Remington magnum

If you want a high degree of expansion control in a .284 bullet, so with the 175gr Nosler Partition. I like something with a little more expansion. My favorite .284 Bullet is the 160gr Accubond. It's the only hunting bullet I need for the 7 STW. I think it will be up to the task in your 7 Mag as...

    165 accubond load for 30378

We get 3450 with the 165's out of my buddies RUM. They sure smack the antelope.

    Accuracy but no speed?

If the books were always right, there would be no reason for anyone to have a chronograph. The book was made with a minimum spec test barrel, and that's not what you are shooting. Why are your velocities low? Could be an oversized chamber, thin brass, a slow lot of powder, or perhaps something...

    Handgun Blems

Nosler must be running some Handgun bullets. They just added more Handgun Blems at the proshop. For you .44 Lovers the 240gr HP were just added. These are very accurate out of my Vaquero.

.224 cal 64 gr BSB Field Test

Jim, sorry to hear your whitetails are so tough they can only be killed with a RUM. Must be some good crops. Well, if not you, I sure hope someone on the board gets to perform a whitetail field test for us. This could prove to be one heck of a little bullet.

JD, I'm liking what I'm seeing. I hope someone gets a chance to smack a whitetail with one of them this year!!

22-250 fpr Pronghorn.... who has used it? What bullet?

22-250 is illegal for antelope in Wyoming. Wyoming and Colorado still have a 6mm minimum requirement. But it's legal in SD.

Is this .308 Load appropriate for Moose?

Sith, you know your gun will shoot, chances are it will shoot more then one load just as good as the one you found. I would start with the 180 BT's. It should be easy to get them to shoot, and at .308 velocities, they will hammer a moose.
