Hard to say really. I mean look at the 7mm Rem mag vs the 7mm Bee. Too close to each other especially if the Bee has a 24" tube via Vanguard chassis. The 7mm the 300 and even the 270 Bee will do just about anything in North America providing you use a commensurate bullet for the task. My...
Thank you! But it better be! Currently the 224 can only be had in this configuration. Only with AA walnut wood, maple spacers, ebony endcaps etc. Believe me I paid for it. LOL
No! The 224 Bee has no parent case. The history on it is interesting. This is where Roy dropped the proverbial "ballistic ball". Back then the 220 Swift had come out, and most were crying about the barrel burn outs. I had a few Swifts and never burned out the barrel. So Roy thought about...
Finally I got one.
This now completes my WBY collection. Every caliber made I now own. What is cool is each rifle is in a different configuration. No two are identical. Anyway I put a Zeiss 4.5x14x44 on the VarmintMaster and shot a couple of loads with it this weekend just for feel. The 50...
As previously mentioned it would not hurt to experiment. I will be doing this shortly. Winter weather in Wyoming is not shooter friendly with winds and temps.
I have a friend's 6.5 Creed that is currently loaded with Staball and CCI 250 Large Magnum Rifle primers.
He needs a load for his...
Personally I would trust that 350 Speer on one of your water buffs down there!
On a separate note if you have grown tired of photobucket polluting your pictures with banners, like most of us are, may I suggest imgur?

I do not know why they do that. One can not post a clean...
I am pretty systematically anal when it comes to my loads. If the brass is not virgin then they will be annealed at a minimum by 2 firings. I followed CE President's Daniel Smitchko's advise on loading them with the groove in the neck so they can fit in the magazine.
Of course. They did not like that groove inside the neck. Only way I can explain it.
This was with 30-378, 300 RUM etc. Again this was a few years ago.
I was not going to spend that kind of $$$ just to try them in my 8mm Rem Mag.
Been saying this for YEARS!!!!
The ONLY ABLR I ever got to shoot well was the 6.5mm 142 gr.
This was in a Ruger #1 264 Win mag. Not in any other 6.5mm rifle either. The only load, the only gun, the only diameter.
Pretty much...... horrible!
Also tried the Raptors with the tip in my 378 Bee I had years ago. I could not break 1.5" with a Krieger barrel.
The only awesome (and ) acceptable load I found with Cutting edge bullets was with the CE laser in my 375 BAS. (Cheytac IMP) . Single feed bullet...
