I agree. Past the round count of load development it will be only a few rounds annually since this will be a hunting rifle only. Even LR hunting I may not do that every year it just depends on how much crops are lost in that field. This year they ate 1/2acre of sweet corn and 6 acres of feed...

So I made some loads for my tikka t3x 308win using imr4895. They shot well but I’m going to shorten up my seating depth to get more consistency in groups. I loaded 44.0gr at 2.82” which is mag length max and rifle chamber measured 2.91”. I got no signs of overpressure at all and unfortunately...
I think seating depth would help you maybe shorten them up just a bit .02-.03 also let the barrel cool a little longer before you take the third shot. When shooting for groups give the barrel 3-5 min between the second and third shot I found this helps me

I’ve got the same rifle in the same caliber and it is my favorite rifle. It is thee one I will not sell no matter what and hopefully my son will use it as he gets older and give it to his son when I’m long gone. Great find
