Yep TD that’s what I was getting at with the comment about causing the higher speeds. I generally start load development with the ogive kissing the lands and if accuracy isn’t there I back off incrementally. Thanks Mark I’ll let you know how I go.

I found R17 was a good replacement for H4350 in a number of different cartridges.

Interesting that AR2209 and H4350 show different pressures and speeds, given they are identical. Just goes to show nothing is absolute with handloading. R26 is impressive. Not sure it's available here. Plenty of options though.

I've used a lot of Norma Oryxes in 180g / 30-06 on pigs. Fairly unsurprisingly, they worked very very well. Accurate and mostly double-punched shoulders on pigs of all sizes.
