Has anyone tried the 156gr Berger? Curious to see how it performs. Having a hard time finding Nosler BT around here.

Loaded up some H4831 and RL26. Once the weather gets a bit warmer (yeah, doesn't happens too much in Dec), I'll get out to the range and see how they perform.

Thanks. Hit her at about 50yds and complete pass through with entry and exit holes about the size of a quarter. Closer than I would have liked, but couldn't pass up the chance.

Was out yesterday and dropped a nice mature whitetail doe. Only had factory 147 ammo, but did the job.

I'm putting a Burris E1 4.5-14x42 on it. My eyes aren't what they used to be ;)

Got some RL26 and 147gr ELD-M bullets. Will see how they perform. Also have some factory Hornady ammo with the 147gr. Oh, and here is the rifle.

Would anyone happen to know what Possum Hollow bore guide fits the Remington 783? Specifically in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Got out to the range and ran the load over the chrono. Averaged 3509fps. That’s almost exactly what Barnes lists for the load in their data using a 24” barrel.

Doing some load testing with my new to me Vanguard S2 and looking very promising. 100gr TTSX 75.5grs H1000 CCI-250 Wby case 3.170" Next outing I will run it over the chrono.

Yes, I think I will go with the handload. As DrMike mentioned, something about "rolling your own" makes the hunt that much more special.
