For Sale a great condition, Leupold Vari X IIc 3-9x40, glass is very clean and clear, a few small nicks in the matte finish. Slight ring marks. This is a great scope. Duplex reticle. IMO better than the new freedoms.

the 7-08 is my daughters rifle and I think the farthest it will ever get shot is 400 yards. I try to keep the kids at reasonable distances. thanks for the reply..
I have found a couple Meopta MeoPro 3-9x40 brand new, I have a the big brother version, a 3.5x10x44 and the optics and tracking are amazing. I have a little compact 7-08 or a muzzleloader this new 3-9x40 could go on. Anyway the issue im wondering about is the Parallax for the 3-9x40. Its a 50...
This set of dies are in like new condition, loaded less than 100 rds.
280 Remington FL die and bullet seater.
$45/tyd. I’d even throw in some 284 bullets I’ll never use. Some speer 145, Sierras etc
I did take a big mature cow elk with a 160 BT, she was 375 yards, it went straight through one shoulder and exited the off side. I’d have zero hesitation in putting one through a bull elk. A great bullet.
If you can round up the 125 partition it's a great bullet, I have used it a bunch whitetail and mule deer. It just flat works and has been very accurate in my 260 rem.
I've yet to recover one from close to far.. The 120 BT works awesome as well. SPS has the 120 E-tip in stock right now...
Tikka, Remington, Winchester and I really have liked the rugers I’ve had, always wanted a Sako and Weatherby. There’s several great rifle manufacturers out there.
I’ve enjoyed reading this thread, pretty much feeling the same way as a-lot of you, Big green really screwed up with the 6mm, 260, 280, 35 whelen. I’m a big fan of the 260 and 280. The 25-06 along with these should deserve more attention. I’ll never shoot a 6.5 creed, our 1-8 and1-9 260s will...
I guess what I mean would I be handicapping the 284 with a 22' barrel, or would it just be more or less a 7-08 with that barrel length. the highest bullet weight would be 162 but most likely I would stick with 140-154 weights. I have a tikka 7-08 I thought I could rechamber or spin a new barrel...
Question for y’all, I like the not so popular rifle calibers, I have a few 7-08s but have always been intrigued by the 284 win.
Can you get the full performance of a 284 in a 22” barrel? Anyone have experience with the 284? I have access to a couple hundred 284 brass. Or do I just stick...
