CYA - Drop 1 to 1.5gr and work it up like RR suggested.

I use Hornady 100gr BTSP for deer hunting. They work very well over H48321SC.

A bullet will not tip up. As long as it is still spinning gravity is going to be working to pull it down in a typical arc.

I exclusively use 100gr Hornady BTSP in my 243. They knock whitetail down better than anything else I tried. Mine is a Smith & Wesson 1500 (Howa)

I read that elsewhere too. That stinks... I don't like the idea of setting up a regular chrony at the range I shoot at. When the loonies show up its time for a hasty retreat. Last year I had a guy let his kid sit on the rail that prevents you from walking past the bench into the hot firing...

You like the magnetospeed? I have been looking around for a chrony and don't want to have to setup a lot at the range.

I am not a fan of BT if you plan to shoot anything closer than 50-75yards. I had a few really blowup on a deer with my 25-06. This was within the first year or 2 they were out. Maybe it is different now...

No difference from when I take a 20guage skeet (Rem 1100) to sporting clays shoots. The 12g crowd makes fun of it and then whines when I kick their butt :mrgreen: I am not sure what I would pick. I try to buy calibers where I can get factory ammo in an emergency. Any WBY and anything over...
