I cannot find Varget anywhere. Seems like it's a staple among great 308 loads. I have worked up a few loads using Vihta Vouri N 140. The first few groups have been promising. I think with a little tinkering I can come up with something acceptable with V N140. Thanks for all the input guys...

I've fooled with seating depth some. Also got some IMR 4064 and Vihta Vouri N140. Also picked up new Norma brass and Hornady SST 165gr. Shot a few 3/4" to 1" groups today. I've got a bit of options now. I just need to hit on the sweet spot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've had great experiences with Boyd's stocks on Rem 700s and Savage bolt action slug guns. Install pillars and bed action and recoil lug and you're ready to go. Just remember to seal any wood you remove while inletting small areas to fit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
