    PowerBall

You had me going there for a moment! I was thinking why didn't that sob call or text me, instead of posting it on the forum, LOL. Well, I'm retired and don't even know what day it is, thanks rjm for the reminder.

    270 wsm

Welcome to the forum. I don't have my 270wsm anymore, but when I did the heaviest bullets I loaded were 150g ABLR. I used RL26, Magpro and IMR 7828, with CCI LRM primers. Retumbo and Magnum should work well too.

    .257 Roberts hunters only

Lots of good info above! 115g BT or Partitions and 110g AB will work great. I'm shooting them in my 9 twist 25-06 and the all shoot very well. If you need a mono lead-free bullet try Hammer bullets, I'm shooting 90g Absolute Hammers at 3600 to 3700fps and they are amazing. Accurate, easy to...

38 Special 125 grain handload input please?

You might try some VihtaVuori powder. My old Speer manual shows 3n37 powder used with 125g bullets. Not sure if it's clean burning, but at least it's available. I've started using VihtaVuori powders in a couple rifle calibers with excellent results.

38 Special 125 grain handload input please?

That's probably why it's cleaner because it burns hotter?? If I remember correctly, Universal was little cleaner than Bullseye .

38 Special 125 grain handload input please?

Yeah, I don't think any of them were real clean. I believe Titegroup is cleaner burning, but I never tried it, "IF" it's available. Glad I have a lot of Bullseye and Universal on hand. Good luck!

    Where is Spring!

We have a heatwave going on here in the west, yesterday's it hit 100 degrees and only cooled off to 70 overnight. Supposed to be hotter the next 3 days. It should be cool and rainy this time of year here in the central coastal mountains of CA.

    WTB 80s manuals

I have that same Lyman book from the mid 70's, but it doesn't look nice like NYDAN's. All my old loading manuals are pretty well "used".

    signs of spring

We have had 4 seasons in the last 3 weeks. 3 weeks ago it was in the mid 80s. 2 weeks ago it rained 4 inches in 3 days, than drop to 32 degrees. Last week it was in the high 80s and low 90s. This week there is a wind advisory and 60. It's difficult to get acclimated to anything.

Nice! I like that. What is the estimated velocity and from what bullet?

Sadly, I think I’m done with Partitions

This^ Hammer bullets acted a lot like Partitions except they are lead-free. They are the easiest bullets i have found to find an accurate load for, they kill game quickly with very little bloodshot meat, they are expensive but you get what you pay for.

    Talk to me about VihtaVuori

I've had good success with N550 in my 22-250 and 243. Soon to give it a try in my 6.5 cm.
