    July 10th range trip (pics)

When I first started working up a load for my 25-06 with 117 gr SGK's, I tried 3 different powders and about every seating depth/powder charge combo I could come up with...nothing worked. After talking to a few people, general consensus was the barrel twist on my rifle my not be a true 1-10''...

264Win mag 140gr Nosler PAR test load

Nice work. I've always been interested in a 264 WM. It just sounds cool.

7mm-08, 150 Accubond Long Range Quickload question

That's the first one I would try.

    2014 Hunting Pictures

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Texas to help thin out the hog population. We've been going to the same place for the last 14 years and this trip ranked right up there as the most productive. The final results. 6 hogs (should've had 9 but you can't hit em all) & 1 coyote

    280 Rem & 140 gr Accubonds

I haven't run them over my chrony yet. I only had 11 rounds loaded at the time and just wanted to see if there was any potential. According to QuickLoad, they should be in the neighborhood of 2950-3000 fps. As soon as I get my hands on a box of these bullets, I'll definitely check the...

    280 Rem & 140 gr Accubonds

I would think R22 would work really well with a long heavy bullet like a LRAB. I didn't think it would shoot as good as it did with the 140 gr's. Guess you don't know til ya try. If I can find a combo with the 90 gr AB's & R22 in my 243, I'll only need 1 powder for all 3 calibers I reload...

    First reloads

That's cool. My 3 year old boy likes to come down and run the press handle when I'm seating bullets. He gets pretty excited that he made a "bullet".

    280 Rem & 140 gr Accubonds

I a little surprised since these were the last 3 shots of the morning (#40, 41, & 42) and I was starting to get a little twitchy.

    280 Rem & 140 gr Accubonds

Got to the range this morning. I ran through a 6-3 shot test groups with R-22 & Barnes TTSX's (140 gr.) @ 200 yds....none of those were worth a darn. They were all grouping anywhere from 2'' to almost 4''. I moved on to the Accubonds and since I only had 11 (that I had to borrowed from my...

    2013 Hunting Pictures

Real late to the party, but here are a few pics from the 2nd weekend of Nebraska's 2013 November Firearm season. We watched this buck work it's way down the creek bottom for over an hour. He disappeared for about 15 minutes then appeared straight west of us at a ranged 417 yards. One shot...

Nice Dr. Mike. Can't complain about those results.

    280 Rem & 140 gr Accubonds

Not too shabby. Good shooting. I'm hoping I can find a good load with the RL-22.

    280 Rem & 140 gr Accubonds

When I had the new barrel put on, I almost went to a 280AI, but for some reason decided not too. Good luck with the new stick.

    280 Rem & 140 gr Accubonds

    I've got a 25-06 & 243 (both Model 70's) along with the 280, but 9 times out of 10, I grab the 280 when I head out. There's just something about it.

Live in Omaha. Grew up on a farm about 20 miles south of Lexington. I'm still not used to living in this concrete jungle. Where are you at?
