I have found with light rifles how you hold the rifle make a big difference. Mine like a firm tight grip and to be pulled back into my shoulder. I would also shoot some 5 shot groups to get a better feel for the load.

That looks to be a normal primer fired in a 300 Rum. If you are getting good case life and are happy with how it shoots why mess with it?

I have found loads with Hunter to get better as you get to max pressure. I read that it is designed to burn better/efficiently at higher pressure and that mag primers can tighten groups up also.

I have 3 boxes of those bullets I got from Grafs several years ago. The packaging is 25 to a box but nothing else seems any different.

I load it in 243, 7-08 and 30-06 with very good results. 243 with 85 gr. TSX 7-08 with 150 BT 30-06 with 180s

I have found with the 300 RUM the big diff is who makes the brass. I have starting loads with Remington brass that blows the primer in Norma brass. Since Nosler doesnt make the brass it could be from two different makers causing the change in loads.

TD I have shot moose, elk and deer with a 338 and Barnes tsx and ttsx bullets and have had no problems. If they shoot well in your rifle, they should, I would not hesitate to use them. My only E-tip game use was last falls elk with a 168 out of a 300 RUM and it was a DRT.

The hunter load was right at 49.5. FPS Measured with a magneto chrono.

I have loaded 150 gr. Nosler BT's with hunter and get 2760 fps in a 22" barrel.

Sportsman guide has them for 499. I couldn't find much for reviews so your on your own.
