I load for a T-3 also. I have found good loads with 225 TSX and R-19. I also worked with 225 Sierra bullets and Ramshot Hunter, IMR4350, H4350 and superformance. I was able to get 2" or less groups at 220 yards. The key with light rifles is a firm consistent hold.
I have 200 E-TIPS...

The real reason for that, is that ADI GAVE the information from the work they did with H 4895 for reduced loads...so they have hard data that cost them nothing...

I have found with light rifles how you hold the rifle make a big difference. Mine like a firm tight grip and to be pulled back into my shoulder.
I would also shoot some 5 shot groups to get a better feel for the load.

I have found loads with Hunter to get better as you get to max pressure. I read that it is designed to burn better/efficiently at higher pressure and that mag primers can tighten groups up also.
I have found with the 300 RUM the big diff is who makes the brass. I have starting loads with Remington brass that blows the primer in Norma brass. Since Nosler doesnt make the brass it could be from two different makers causing the change in loads.

I have shot moose, elk and deer with a 338 and Barnes tsx and ttsx bullets and have had no problems. If they shoot well in your rifle, they should, I would not hesitate to use them. My only E-tip game use was last falls elk with a 168 out of a 300 RUM and it was a DRT.
Here is some 338 load work ups.
Since I have a bunch of both I thought I would give them a go in my 338 Winchester. Here is what I found today. This was chrono work no groups measured.

I have used two scopes on my 338.
1. 1.5x6 Bushnell 4200
2. 2.5x10 Weaver Classic extreme
I had the 1.5x6 on when I got my moose in Manitoba but it now resides on a 338-06. Both work great but the 2.5x10 makes load workup easier.

Also in that burn range are 760, 414, A4350, R-16 and R-17. I have also had good results with Superfromance.
I have loaded for a 338 Win. since 1978. I have had very good results with R-19, R-22, IMR4350 and lately with Superformance and R-26. I am also going to try R-23. I generally load for 225 bullets but have used 250s.
I am getting 2850 to 2900 fps with 225bullets with 19, 26, 4350 and...
In my use of them I have found several things.
1. Start low on the powder charges, they build more pressure than Barnes bullets.
2. They like a good run to the lands like the Barnes.
3. Accuracy was very good but a little harder to find.
These findings were with a 300 SAUM and a 300 RUM. I...
