I can tell the 168 E-Tip out of a 300 RUM did a # on the neck of a 6x6 bull elk several days ago. It was also easy to find the load. I also have a good load with 180 E-Tip in that rifle that was also easy to find. I have not used accubonds in that rifle so can not compare the loads.
I have been using 26 in several 300 SAUMs and a 300 RUM and it seems to very temp stable. I have shot it in these rifles form 5 degrees to 80 degrees. It is also easy to find a good load. I also load 22 in several rifles and would be comfortable with it also.
That is a gun problem not an issue with the load. When I had a 7400 49 gr. of 4064 and a 165 gr. bullet was a very good load. I would look a a dirty chamber as the problem. A chamber brush and a good scrubbing with a powder solvent should solve this issue. If you purchased this rifle new...
You were sizing them down too far causing a bulge at the shoulder. I would bet these cases will not chamber or chamber very hard. Back the die out and start short sizing a little at a time until you get a slight crush fit and then 1/8 or 1/4 turn more and you are good to go. This keeps the...
I load for two 264s. 1. a 1990s Win model 70 with a 24" barrel. 2. Ruger 77 with a lilja 27" barrel. Loads for these two rifle could not be more different. Here are some results with 129 Hornady interbonds and Barnes 127 LRX.
Rifle #1. 129 R-33 80 gr. 3230 fps.
127 R-33 73...

That is true but you never know when you will get the agent having a bad day. We crossed in N.D. and is very hunter friendly but I have heard of other crossing points that are not. It is always good to be prepared.
You fill out a 4457 form for taking property, guns, cameras or other expensive equipment, out of the country to show prior ownership coming back so as not to be taxed on them. Hunting partner an I came back with two moose and as said, it was easy with no issues.
There is a difference in the the leade between the 223 and 5.56 chambers. This is why they say to not shoot 5.56 ammo in a 223 chamber.
Also the tech note in the manual says 5.56 rifles have a 1-8 twist or faster which will stabilize bullets up to 80 gr. It notes that these loads can be...
I have had good results with several powders. IMR4350, H4350, IMR4831, H4831 and IMR7828. Hunter worked very well with the 85 gr. TSX. I have reports that R-26 is one to try and I will be doing so soon.
76 Super was 2913
75 Hunter was 2945
69.5 H4350 was 2861 so 70 should be close to 2900
I did not chrono any today was just seeing if any accuracy was there.
Shot some groups at 220 yards today.
77.5 gr. R-26 2900 fps 4 shots 2 3/8" 225 Hornady IB
76 gr. Superformance 4 shots 2 7/8" 225 Sierra
75 gr. Hunter 4 shots 2 1/4" 225 Sierra
70 gr. H4350 4 shots 2 1/2" Hornady IB
All bullets seated to fit in the T-3 magazine.
Since I have a bunch of both I thought I would give them a go in my 338 Winchester. Here is what I found today. This was chrono work no groups measured.
Superformance. 225 Sierra Federal case & WLRM primers.

I think you should run it over the chrono and go from there. My guess would be your top loads would be reached with less powder in the heavy brass. I also would keep the brass separated by weight.
