I have shot Hornady 55gr SX bullets since about 1970. They are great and never ricochet. I load them in a 223 rifle and pistol.

    F****ing Hornady brass!

I have used a number of different Hornady Rifle brass cartridges. I have not had troubles with them. I do get a higher FPS with them and the lowest FPS with Nosler brass. Same exact load and they also print to different places on the target. Both shoot small groups but not just together.

    Scope rings???

I use both styles. I have the Talley vertically split rings on 2 Weatherby MKV rifles and the have been excellent. Also use weaver rings and weaver style as well as the Leupold style. No complaints with any of them

    Lube

I use RCBS Spray lube and try to get some in the case necks on at least some of them. I toss them into my tumbler(treated corn cob) with a cut up dryer sheet for a shot time after sizing to remove the lube inside and on the outside of the brass.

    Pacific Dies

Yes they were the Hornady dies before they started calling them Hornady. Hornady had rifle/pistol and shotgun reloading equipment that they called Pacific. That was in the 1960's when I got my pacific stuff. Yes it is good stuff.

For elk use Partition or Swift A-Frames for best results no matter the shot angle. I will be using A-Frames on my hunt and have used them on 2 trips to Africa for big to small animals. They are excellent

    Lee Dies

Crap. The so called locking rings are not locking. By the time you get real locking rings they are not the bargain you thought. Also I have had terrible experiences trying to get lee to warranty items they claim have a lifetime warranty. It was cheaper and easier to just buy new items. Get RCBS...
