Any updates on this load?
I'm going to try it out in my 25" rebarreled Ruger M_77 but am going to run the Nosler 160 grain Partition. Planning on working up a parallel loading using IMR 4831 as I had a trusted elk load years ago using the latter combination @ 52.0 grains with the CCI 250 primer...
The 3031 is gone, that must have been the last of it.
Still have a 4350, 4198 & 4831 all IMR of the same vintage & they look and smell perfect.
Some lots of older 3031 must not have the same level of endurance?

It was just a display of different powder types (ball, flake, short extruded ect...) on my reloading room wall. I'm assuming the cork is in that green mass, all the other powders are fine. Just the 3031 went south
We worked up to the 67.7 grain maximum book load & stopped there, we didn't match Alliants velocity claim but came close. Extraction was smooth & the Federal 215's still had very slightly rounded corners.
Velocity wasn't breaking any records at 3280 fps in that Mark V lightweight 26" barrel...
