    New Here

Even though I live near Clemson, I've never been a fan. Always been a Carolina fan. On another note, I saw some hybrid bass schooling activity this morning as I crossed the bridge on the Keowee River, right there at the nuclear plant. Ive caught some good fish in that spot over the years.

    Barrel Cleaning Products

Ive been using Sweet's 7.62 and JB paste for years. Works great. There's no sense in changing horses mid-stream for me.

    New Here

Welcome to camp my friend. I'm from SC as well, however we are miles apart Im from the Upstate. About 10 miles from Clemson University. I love the Lowcountry of SC and cherish every chance I get to hunt down there. Again, welcome!

question on neck bulge 30-06: RESOLVED

Your problem is not "what was done prior". Your issue is what was not done before you tried seating those bullets. As already noted by others, using the bullet to expand the case necks is not the way to properly seat bullets. NEVER assume anything. If you'll notice the first three letters of...

    Tac in 7mm08

TAC, is real close to Varget. It would be one of my choices if I didn't have plenty of Big Game and Varget.

    Match vs regular primers

What RL338 said. From my understanding they test each lot and those that have the tightest tolerances are segregated and labeled "Match" and they use the "most experienced" primer makers to achieve this.

    Nice score tonight!!

At this stage of game and imo, if you can find primers around 85 dollars per 1000, and you are in need, you had better buy them.

    Nice score tonight!!

Im right there with ya. I started buying primers during Trump's first admin. I laid back thousands. Glad I did as well. These "shortages", come about every now and again, so it's always wise to "plan" for the next one, because there's always a next one.

    Nice score tonight!!

If you'll pay attention to some of the "reloading supply websites" you can catch "no hazmat fee" from time to time. That only leaves standard shipping fee. That's the time to buy powder and primers.

    Nice score tonight!!

Glad you found some. Ive been finding primers in stock at my local Academy in SC as well. While I didn't need any LRP's I did pick up some Winchester Magnum primers that I ran across Hopefully, primers will become readily available again rather than one of those "would you look at what I...

    Ok, Guys. A PSA Warning!!!!!

Psalms 127 "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: And the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; So are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: They shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

    Another chrono hits the market

Amen my brother. Up to a certain point, I could care less about velocity. Now, if my hunting style dictated long range, 3-4-5 hundred yards I may be more interested in flattening the trajectory curve but my shots are within 100 yds, most times, half that or less, for deer, I don't think the...
