Yeah I’ll keep the cases longer with these ones as well. I did I that with a 270 160gr Partition I loaded up this fall. The bullets seem to a have touch more nuances than some of the typical bullets I’ve reloaded. But, I think these are going to be excellent.

I went through all of this and I ended up tabling it because I found a good deal (lol) on a Rem 7600 .270 Deluxe with engravings. In another month or so, I'll be fishing again. I think I settled on the Weatherby 307!

Outside of this thread where I really wanted to develop a 160 load, my buddy used one of my other 270’s that I have a great 130gr Hornady Interlock SP 59gr 4831sc load developed for and this was the stag he got. It was an absolute monster.

The deed is done, the load performed flawlessly as expected. Got a Red Stag at ~100 yards, quartered shot, went in through the lungs and out on the shoulder. What an animal!
