Thinking of getting one of my blued hunting rifles done in Cerakote to help make it a little more rust resistant.
How does cerakote hold up around the muzzle brake?
I did have a couple rifles done up with cerakote but they didn't have a brake on them.
Pretty sure it will hold up well but just...
I would go with the 6.5-06 first or the 25-06 second.
As much as I love my 25-284, my 6.5 Creedmoor with those high BC bullets makes it the first rifle i grab now.
redhead=6.5 Creedmoor....
I would go with the 260 if you don't reload much.
If you reload the 6.5x55 in the long action you can seat bullets out and get better ballistics then the the 260.
I have used 4 Boyd stocks on some builds and have been very happy with them.
I glass bedded them all.
I have one on my 10/22 heavy barrel and one on my 25-284.
the other two rifles were sold.
Here we have no primers but I still see RL19, RL22, lots of IMR4350 but no H4350. Some H380 and a few other pistol powders.
I would be willing to buy some IMR4350 to swap with H4350 if anybody is interested.
that is why I stopped shooting my 300 Win mag and shoot my 6.5 Creedmoor and 25-284 a lot more.
Now i just need to find some more H4350 and I'll be all set
