Congrats Guy !
Couple awesome animals and some great photos.
Great photo of the 'yote
And for the record, an 06 and 165 BTs are like peas and carrots in my book.
I got back into bow hunting about three years ago.
I bought a used Bowtech Sniper from the classifieds on an archery forum.
Shot it for two years and then shot a buddies Elite archery bow.
Both shoot very well for me but the draw cycle on the Elite is a lot smoother to me than the Bowtech.

The rifle I haul around in my car has flip up iron on the rear and a fixed F type front sight...
Our practice loads are 7/8ths at 1300 with reclaimed shot.
We use them for skeet, 5 stand and sporting clays.
Tournaments we switch to 1 oz hard shot at 1300.
I bought on last summer from CMP.
Like it so much I ordered two more this past Monday.
Was talking with my ace compadre the other day about using mine on our new lease in Mo this November.
There's a creek bottom on the place where 100 yards would be a long shot.
Great Googlie Mooglie !!!
That 6.5 Bee is smoking right along.
My 264 Winnie runs that bullet at 3350 and it's got a 28 inch tube on it.
Nicely done on all three accts !
That was the first center fire rifle I bought for myself back in 83.
I shot a lot of game with it over the years and it got used by nearly everyone in the family at some point.
Traded it off to my boss 5 years ago when I got bit by the 7STW bug.
Everyone needs at least 2 308s in the safe.
I'm going to be the odd man out.
Dad bought one in 300 Win about 1990.
Used Redfield one piece base and Redfield rings.
Mounted a 3x9x40 Leupy I robbed off one of my '06s.
I tried 5 different factory loads and 5 handloads in it over the course of the summer and it was a 3-6 MOA rifle at 100...
I bought an RAR in 308 a while back for $249.00 plus tax.
It was in the previously loved rack at the local gun store but didn't look like it had been fired.
It liked 165 NBTs on top of 45 grs of Varget.
Easily an MOA rifle.
Lost my lease in Mo so I sold it to a co worker.
I use Federals ( when I can find them ) 210s for standard and 215s for magnum loads.
Loading for my Garand and my M1A I use CCI #34s which are designed for the military rifles.
As of late the only thing I have been able to find in any quantity are Winchester small and large primers.
I generally...
As a matter of fact Creemore was messing with it last weekend in a 280AI.
He was using it to fireform brass, 54 grs ( 280 Rem max load ) and a 168LRAB gave him a 1.5 in group at 200. He didn't chrono it though.
He primarily shoots H4831 in this rifle but MR4000 will get a second look.
