Maybe I just throw that first number away as an error. That puts me in the ballpark of where I thought I'd be.

I was just dinking around today because I wanted to get some once fired cases to make a modified case out of. I know 3 shots isn't a great sample, but what do you make of these chrono numbers? 100 gr. Nosler Partition 51 gr RL17 WLR primer 3.200" OAL 1. 2989 FPS 2. 3023 FPS 3. 3072 FPS

There was 7977 in stock yesterday locally too. That stuff looked interesting because it's supposed to help with copper fouling.

I hate to be a pain but DrMike could you (or anyone else) run the quickload for RL17 and RL26 for a 100 gr Barnes TTSX? I'm wishing I bought e-tips now but oh well...

I use Retumbo with my 120 Partition load, never tried the 115. I do have about 2 pounds of it though. I kind of had my heart set on 100 grainers though - I bought a box of 100 gr TTSXs - I actually bought two then thought better of it. I do have a box of 110 Accubonds I've never tried as well...

Is IMR 7977 too new to be in the QuickLoad data? That powder sure looks interesting. I was surprised no retumbo either - that must be better for the heavier bullets?

    Efficient load development

See now I'm glad I asked! That changes how I'll do things. Well I have read online quite a few people talking RL17 up for velocity and accuracy even if it doesn't pencil out, and I have it so I thought I'd give it a try for a 100 gr. antelope load. I'd love to try other powders but I need to...

I would like to work up a load for a 100 gr. bullet in my 25-06 factory Remington with Reloder 17. Alliance lists 53 as a max, so I would like to work from 47.7 to 53. What is the most efficient way to do this? I was thinking 3 rounds each at .5 intervals, pick the best and play with seating...

    300 WSM

Ya why is 300 WSM so hard to find? It's become a pretty standard caliber. I can find 300 WM brass no problem.

    Resizing problem

I thought I had this figured out and now I don't think I do. I bought the headspace bushing. I haven't adjusted these numbers for the spacer, just reading straight off the caliper. I don't have once fired brass so working with what I had on hand: This should be a pretty good sample for my...

    Resizing problem

Another thing, I had an issue previously where I was engaging my shell with the seating die and belling the case - visible to the eye: viewtopic.php?p=305926#p305926. I fixed it (I thought) by always trimming to trim length, and then setting the seater 1 full turn below contact with the shell...

    Resizing problem

I'm was planning on buying the Hornady headspace bushing today - I already have the kit for measuring ogive. I do not have any once fired brass, my brass is pretty much all fired 3 times at this point. So, if I can't find brass I may need to buy some cheap factory ammo just to once fire...
