Yup, I got a case of BR2s and BR4s Friday afternoon. Should last me a good while with what I already have.

The older I get, the more I just need better glass. I'm hoping the S&Bs get me through till I die, cause I can't afford much higher end glass than that haha.

Considerable amount, especially with the superior parallax adjustment on the S&B. Nightforce and Leupold are definitely a step below S&Bs glass. Comparable glass to S&B would be like Tangent, ZCO, Hensoldt, Swaro, and Kahles.

Just got her zeroed at 300 yards. Took 1 shot at 100 yards, adjusted the scope to bullet hole, then went another 3" high so it'd get me close to my 300y zero. Took the next 4 shots at 300 yards and got a 1/2 MOA group 3/4" above center. Came down 1 click and set my zero. Total of 5 shots fired...

Picked up a S&B PMII 5-25x P4F for the 7-300. Taking the old NXS 5.5-22x off today and mounting her up in some Warne mountain tech rings. Have a cow hunt coming up the next couple weeks and need to get it zeroed and ready to go! 180g ELDMs at 3K will be doing the work.

Here's a clear example of the expansion characteristics I'm talking about of the AB vs ABLRs. 7 Mag, 160g AB and 168g ABLR into jugs at 25 yards. Both went to the 5th jug. 160g AB, 89g retained weight for 55% retention, and expanded to .57" at its widest point. 168g ABLR, 87g retained weight...

You can't beat ELDMs for a 300+ hunting bullet. Every buck and spike we've hit with the 7mm 180s were hammered and lights out DRT.

Where can one find just the bullets to reload, that haven't been pulled? I'm not seeing them anywhere online. The only place I see them for sale is DRT and they're pulled. Not interested in pulled bullets.

Exactly my point! We are not the only ones! It's an anomaly when they actually do shoot from a rifle...For every 1 rifle that shoots them, there's at least 10 or 20 that don't. I don't see how that's productive for anyone. Looks like I'll just be sticking with the Hornady 180g ELDMs until...

We need a 7mm 175-180g regular AB! Something around at least a .600-.625 BC You make a 30 cal 200g AB and 338" 300g AB so it can be done... The 175g ABLR is not it. They don't shoot 9 out of 10 rifles, and they don't expand as well as the regular ABs. Sure they have a high BC, but that doesn't...

If you can get the 75 ELDMs around 3K, which is entirely possible with a bolt gun and 28-30" tubes, it's not as bad as you'd think. It's not too far off a 6 creed with 108 ELDMs at 3K.

My vote is a fast twist 223. Cheap to shoot, accurate, long barrel life, and a good training rifle. Also could double up as a nice coyote rifle too.
