I'd never thought about it like that, but I do believe you're onto something.

It's one of those cartridges that is in the 'when' not 'if' bucket. When I finally shoot out my .243, it may well end up in 6.5. Great all around cartridge.

I clean all my dies when they are new. My preference is hornady one shot cleaner, works like a charm.

Also - SPS has in the 250g partitions in 35 at the moment for a great price. Had to grab a few more boxes just to keep them on hand.

I've been able to substitute Fed and CCI with no issues or changes in load workup. (I did drop down a few grains and work my way back up, but the sweet spot for powder was the same on both.)

I love R19 in the .243. I've had fantastic groups with R19 and a S HPBT MKs. I've tried a few different powders and always go back to R19. With the heavy weight .243 bullets, it seems to be consistently my most accurate powder.
