I have asked for and received quite a few Quickload reports. As him I always try for the best accuracy with a powder and bullet in my rifles. Doing so I am almost always below where Quickoad says you shouldn't exceed. I would much rather give up a little velocity for a gain in accuracy.
I do things a little differently with new brass. I just neck size the brass for the first loading, I also uniform the primer pockets and the flash holes.
Dr. Mike,
I just realized you gave me data for the 80SPBT Sierra instead of the 85HPBT Sierra that I asked for. Could you give it for the 85HPBT for me. Thank You.
George
Dr. Mike,
I was wondering if you could run me a Quick load for a 6mm Rem. Thank You in advance

I have never used a tray attached to my Lee Hand Primers, I have the original and a newer one. I just put the primers from the package on my RCBS primer tray I move the primers around till they are all anvil up and then pick them up one at a time and prime the cases.
I have followed the following advice I got years ago for 3 shot groups.
With two touching and one out seat deeper.
Triangular group seat out longer.
Also for my rifles I have found .050 off the lands seems to be the sweet spot.
In the 6mm Rem over the years I have found in different rifles and barrels that 46.gr IMR, Sierra 85HPBT, Rem Case and Fed210M primer has worked quite well for me.
I have been reloading with a RCBS Jr since 1976 and I couldn't tell you how many rounds I have reloaded with it. I also have a Rock Chucker that my FIL gave me when he gave up reloading but I have still to use it.
I am a simple person and I like to use one powder for the bullet weights I shoot. In both the 243 and 6mm I have found over the years I can get my most accurate loads for both calibers with RL19. IMR4064 and IMR4831 are both good also for the bullets I shoot but not as good as RL19...
