BobinNC, to answer your question on why buy the book. Simple answer, I live in the sticks and don’t have internet in my shop where I load and phone service is spotty. I don’t need internet to open a book plus I make load notes in the book for future reference.

I like having the book available. I have a Lyman manual that came with my loading kit. It’s generic and I have used it on several different manufacturers bullets.

I have some 150gr NBT and BSB as well as some 165gr NBT. Should be able to get one of those to shoot. Have lots of powder options on hand.

Just got my rifle back from the gunsmith. It came out great. Went with a 26 inch X-caliber varmit barrel, 1:10 twist in 308 and had a Jard 2.5lb trigger installed. Topped it with a Leupold VX II 4x12x50 scope I had in the safe.

I wonder what I will find when I clean my Man Cave. I moved a box yesterday and found several hundred Nosler bullets for 6.5 and 7 mm. But for now I think I will finish my nap and wait on the UPS man to deliver my rifle. Sweet Dreams .

I had a beautiful CZ 550fs in 308. Shot about 10 rounds through it and sold it. The stock just didn’t fit me.

I may need to sell my 77RSI in 308 soon to finance a new #1 in 308.

I picked up a Ruger 77RSI in 275 Rigby because it was too Purdy to shoot according to the owner. Ended up getting a #1 RSI in 257 Roberts from him too.

I would shoot it shoot it shoot it. I have several of the RSI models and they all shoot well.

I have the cerakoted/ camo version of that rifle in 45/70. I use the 300 gr Hornady Hollow point and Starline brass in mine and it will shoot under an inch at 100 yards. Does great on deer. Edit: 56 gr of H4895 Rem 9 1/2 primer
