I use to like shooting the big bores. After messing up my shoulder and a few bad disk I have reduced my fire breathers. Now I am going lighter on the recoil I need a #1 in 308 to add to my micro boomers.
Color the case with a black sharpie and try to chamber it. If it doesn’t chamber there should be a shiny spot where it’s rubbing. That will at least show you where the problem is and you can go from there.
I have shot the 120 and 140 gr in my Ruger 77RSI 260 and both grouped great. Ended up using the 140gr NBT for deer hunting and it has performed flawlessly.
