In MI you can shoot coyotes and raccoons on private property 24/7/365 if they are doing or about to do damage. All that’s needed is a base (small game) license. That’s how MI does their population control. Not sure about non resident costs though. JD338

Repair it. You might be able to raise the gouge with a damp wash cloth and a close iron. Once you get it raised, sand it down and oil it. JD338
