Quite a few calves in the homestead herd this year. I always like to see them on the game cameras.

I didn’t want to get the drone too close to this many birds so the quality isn’t good but does give some idea of all of the birds and critters after an easy meal following the ships upstream as they churn the little fish to the surface with their propellers.

I They scattered at 200’ and the last one took off at about 100’ above it. Interesting birds. I’ve seen them squabble on occasion but they seem to be docile and have an order on which one gets to eat first. The crows come in and try to outsmart them for a bite or two.

Was curious how the birds would react as I brought the drone down for a look while they cleaned up the possum I got last night.
