33, 19 and 10x (6-8# of each) are what i have the most in on alliant as 15, ar-comp, 17, 22 and 25 all have 2# or less left. i'm transitioning into vv powders since my favorite imr4831 is all but gone. probably saving the 17 for 308 and 7-08 and 22 and 25 for i'm not sure which cartridge(s)...
you have more will power than i do and glad for you! i'm about 5'9" and weighed 225 for decades. i've lost 35# due to pain keeping me from eating.............i'd rather be overweight than live the way i'm right now! i used to be able too workout when i had the time, but baling alfalfa...
with the 30tc being a creed i guess i could go 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 30creed, ie 30tc for all gaps and maybe 20cal. if wikipedia is correct, then the 30tc is the parent case? 30tc has (listed) about 1,400psi less on max pressure than the creed line, but close enough. 250savage is...
not just a cartridge gap, but a complete caliber gap for many decades until the last 5 years.
about 10 years ago i didn't have any 30cals as i only had 1 26cal and 2 22cals. between the 10 to year gap i added 1 24cal, multiple 26cals, 3 27cals and 1 33/338cal (whichever way you look at it)...
i've received primed brass, but don't remember if there was a hazmat sticker on it? call the place in question and ask if it requires special shipping? btw, if it's jag primed brass don't buy as what i received was/had terrible primers and the brass wasn't so food as many necks and .200...
with all of this handloading info i'm feeling somewhat down:(. i haven't done any reloading/handloading in 2 years! i have everything to do so, but just not enough time! i've built 9 ar's and 3 ba's from '23 forward in cartridges consisting of 6.5creed, 6.5prc, 264wm, 7-08, 7saum, 308win...
If magtec made their own primers for their ammo i never had any ignition problem. I've shot thousands of their pistol ammo and all went bang. Hopefully the primers are gtg!
always happy to hear great news! my wife lost her mother at 55 and her brother at 45 and neither smoked. not sure, but i believe her brother had lung cancer and mother had cancer in several places. my grandfather did smoke cigars until '60 or '61 then dies in '73. cancer is a HORRIBLE...
i'm able to seat out to 3.750" which is further than it needs too be. i'm somewhere around 3.400-3.450". if you seat deeper, then pressure will go up.
at the extra .035" length you should be able to get an extra .5-1gr of powder depending on which powder is used and how much more throat is left?
The 180e-tip is longer than other 180's and needed to be seated as such. If the throat let's you seat at different lengths, you can go with that? I only have the 180e-tips. Test lengths aren't set in stone, it only gives data based on that. I have a 243win thathas a short throat, so...
I forgot the lever!
I'd say the sbl in 45-70 is my favorite fir 4 reasons.
1st was buying a ticket from my cousin's daughter for a 4h raffle
2nd was winning it
3rd was family input on which cartridge to get it in
4th was having a blast shooting it!
