I also used John Barsness's load recommendations in my Dad's CZ 550/9.3x62. I had no problems reaching 2650 fps with a 250 Accubond. There were no pressure issues. It is definitely a 300 yard cartridge. Steve

Very nice cartridge. It is very similar to the 30-338 wildcat. I have some experience with the wildcat. What kind of rifle is it, if you don't mind me asking? If it were mine, I'd scrounge up the stuff to load for it, and shoot it. No safe queens at my house! Steve
