    Why isn't there a 7mm 160 grn BT?

I get that, but some items, 160 AB among them, are hard to find, much less available on sale. I tend to buy 500 at minimum. P

    Why isn't there a 7mm 160 grn BT?

Shooters Pro Shop wants $30 per bag of 50 for seconds. This isn’t off factory firsts by much. Then add $13 to ship and you’re really close to parity. P

Help me understand the velocity disparity please

It’s max, so work up. R-P brass 150 eldx 46.2 grains Big Game Winchester Large Rifle Magnum primer Seating depth tests in 3 Tikkas found screaming accuracy at 2.156” and 2.183” measured using a comparator, from the ogive. 2790 fps, no pressure signs. Deer and elk. P

    Why isn't there a 7mm 160 grn BT?

It’s my understanding that Nosler doesn’t make a bullet that closely replicates another bullet’s performance in the same weight. Same reason they don’t make a 7mm 120 grain AccuBond, the existing 120 BT provides nearly identical performance.

    Primer costs....very sad

If you don’t like the price, don’t pay it. Don’t whine about it, either. You shoulda stocked up. P

    223 Rem and 22-250.

26.5 grains of Benchmark with 50 grain BT gives me 3400 fps and scary accuracy in multiple .223s. Small rifle CCI primers. P

Help me understand the velocity disparity please

My brother and I use R26 with 162 eldx in our Tikka 7mm Rem Mags with great success. Deer and elk die right freaking now. I actually switched from the 160 AB to the 162 eldx. I’m right at 3k FPS. We also use the 150 eldx in our 7mm-08s at 2790 fps for deer when we want to avoid a kick...

    180 partition for 30-06

https://kristian555.livejournal.com/27291.html Based on this article I tried Hunter powder. 59 grains under a 180 Partition was outstanding, with velocity close to 2850 from my Tikka. This load has put elk in the freezer for me. I named the load Hammer. If your brother wants the exact...

    QL help 7-08 rl26

52 grains and a 162 eldx got me bright, shiny ejector marks and 2730 FPS from my Tikka. Easy bolt lift, though. I get 2790 with the 150 eldx using 46.2 grains of Big Game. Doing the math, there’s very little difference until I get past 700 yards, which is waaaaay beyond my limit. P

7mm-08 and the new 150 AccuBond

I’m thinking I might want to try the new 150 gr AccuBond in the Mighty -08. Does anyone have experience with this combination? P

    7mm-08 with Varget

Big Game. Get some and use a magnum primer. I get 2890 FPS with 140 Partitions and 2870 with 140 AccuBonds. Precision I won’t post for fear of being called a liar.

Anyone using the 150 AB in a 7mm Rem Mag?

So I see Nosler has a new 7mm Accubond bullet in 150 grains. I’m thinking about it paired with Reloader 26 at close to 3200 fps out on a 24.3” Tikka. Anyone have load data for this combo? P

    7mm-08 BT or Accubond?

I have specific experience with this topic, as I introduced my son to hunting with a 7mm-08. In fact, it was the primary driver for my foray into reloading. I wanted a cartridge he could grow up with, that could handle smallish blacktails up to elk. I started him with the 120 BT and Varget at...
