    I found it took JD338 advise and started messing with seating depth bumped up the powder to 56 grains of RL19 and a seating depth of 3.360 2 different groups 3/4 inch was one and another at 7/8 .Thanks to all for your input !!!! I'm happy

    JD 338 I can get the b.t. too shoot well under and inch with 55 grains R.L. 19 but really like the grand slam and wanted to get perform At least a inch group at 100yd. Dr.Mike what was your load with RL 17 ?

    Thank you Dr. Mike I don't have a conograph to see deviations in my loads .But can tell ya IMR 4350 has given me my best results so far with bullets being seated just touching lands .

    I was tickled with how it shot esp. the two bullets having the same poi .Had been shooting imr4350 powder but after trying this rl19 i'm thinking it might be a little bit more consistent from what i can see .

    So in your opinion Dr.Mike your saying the accubond is a better bullet for anchoring game than the BT.

    55 grains rl19 got me one ragged hole at 100 yards with 140 gr bt's and sierras, 140 hpbt game kings 6 shots one hole I quit messin with it with a smile on my face .Thanks for all the info. much appreciated ... :)

    You folks that have shot alot of these accubonds are these bullets any better at killing deer than the BT's? I'm asking this because in my mind there is no better bullet made for killing deer than the BT's but I have no experience with the accubonds....

    Has anyone shoot any deer with the accubonds, I have used the 125 BT's for several years and don't have anything bad to say about them .Can anyone say they penetrate better than a BT or more accurate than a BT? Or does it come down to where you prefer a white tip or a green tip ? :wink:
