From the sounds of it, everyone on here is pretty much of the same belief as me; accuracy is more important than velocity. However getting the best of both and remaining safe is a nice bonus. I have only gone over book max a couple of times and when I did it resulted in a marriage of tiny...
So I have loaded for 7-08 and 308 for several years now. I have a couple pounds of Ramshot TAC and it is phenomenal in my 308. This has made me wonder if TAC would be applicable for my 7-08? Western powers does not list as an option and neither does Hodgon, so I may running in the wrong...
I use the BL-C2 load with 120 TTSX in my son's 7-08. Killed several deer. Farthest has went 10 yards after the shot. We are actually going out with it this afternoon for free youth weekend in KY.

I will entertain any offers on the 243 bullets. If anyone would want the entire lot I would be willing to ship all at once.
Congrats on a fine harvest!! Always good to get first blood of the year and first blood for a new rifle. I hope to get first blood with my 6.5 creed this year!
Sold a rifle recently and do not have a need for several components in my reloading cabinet. I did not take a pic of everything and the ballistic silvertips in the pic have already been sold. If offering a trade I would look at 6.5mm, 7mm, 30 caliber bullets. Send me a message if interested...
The day I mentioned above shooting that 5 pt I can distinctly remember it being pretty cold that day. Probably about 32 degrees and when I began to field dress the deer (with guidance) my cold hands burned from the warmth of the bucks innards, lol!!!
