The 45-70 loaded with the Nosler 300 gr PT at 2200 fps will crush the biggest bear and give you an exit from most any angle. Go with the 45-70 and don’t look back.

I like the 6.5mm’s. I have a 6.5 JDJ in a TC Contender. Had a 6.5 Rem Mag in the M673 Guide but sold it and now have a 6.5 Wby RPM in an Accumark Limited.

The 165 gr SB shoots very well in my 308 Win and is very effective on WT deer. It holds together and penetrates deep. It won’t disappoint.
