    New Winchester in the house.

Never really been a Winchester person. Had a couple, sold them, but just picked up a M70 Featherweight in 7mm-08. Nice rifle with a 2 piece bottom and controlled feed. Came with Way too big a scope, removed that and installed a Leupold 2.5-8. Feels MUCH better. Took the stock off for...

What do people use? Collet puller or the RCBS hammer? My RCBS hammer broke, so figuring what to buy. Seems the RCBS deforms the tips.

    Rifle Practice, 45/70 & 30-06

We all look at bullet expansion etc.....with a 45-70, it just punches a 1/2 inch hole through both sides.

    Glock minus connectors

Anyone have access to factory Glock minus connectors? The "Glock " shops charge a fortune for them. The reduced the trigger pull by a noticeable pound. Thanks

    7828 vs 7828 SSC in 243 Win

Looking to load up some 95gr partitions. 7th edition of the Nosler book, list IMR 7828 41.5 - 45.5 gr as loads for the 95 gr bullets. Do I need to adjust the powder charge if I am using 7828 SSC?

Model 7 rebore to 338 Fed or 358 Win

Think it will be a 358. Will be heading down south pass by JES place in April. Will drop off the rifle then. Maybe if I am lucky, can arrange to pick it up after a week of hunting.

Model 7 rebore to 338 Fed or 358 Win

The 375 sounds cool, but leaning towards a little more conventional 358 right now

Model 7 rebore to 338 Fed or 358 Win

There newer M7, all camo models have a heavier contour barrel that seems prime for Reboring. They are also very affordable (sub $400 easy)

Model 7 rebore to 338 Fed or 358 Win

I have a model 7 in 243 sitting in the back of the safe. Thinking this spring that I might drop it off at JES's for a rebore. Going back and forth between either a 338 Fed or a 358 Win. Don't need a "magnum". Already have 35 Whelens and 338 Fed rifles and many other. Wanting a 0 - 250 yd...

Modifying Accubond tip for a lever gun

What do people think about rounding an Accubond tip for a lever gun? I have a 338 Marlin Express. A person on Marlin forum has been rounding Accubonds with good results. https://www.marlinowners.com/forum/308- ... ics/455169

    35 Whelen

Spent some range time this morning. I had not shot the Tikka 35 Whelen for a couple years, forgot how well it shot. 225gr Partitions behind a load of RL-15 and accuracy was as expected from a Tikka (even though it was reviews by JES). The Tikka will be making the trip.
