Very nice rifle. I used to shoot those .22 Magnums back in the days. It's a .22 on steroids. You should have some fun with it. Gives you the power edge over those little .22's.
Garmin Xero took me 30 seconds to set it up compared to my old P-35 Oehler which average about 10-15 mins to set up and line up with the barrel to the target. Garmin Xero is definitely worth it without the hassle.
After swapping from 140 Berger Hybrids to 140 Nosler Ballistic Tips on my 6.5 Creed, I noticed a " donut feel " when seating the Ballistic Tips past the neck / shoulder junction with my Redding Type S bushing full size die. The Hybrids and 120 Ballistic Tips just stops short of that junction so...
It's pretty cool that they invented those steel cases to give the extra velocity, but I'll stick with what I'm using which is brass cases. I would not know what is needed to load steel cases, steel cases do not stretch like brass. I have read that there are more issues reloading steel cases. If...
Great idea swapping from .45 large primer to small without swapping over the heads on the Dillion. I load for .38 Super on my 550, it uses small primers. I still have some large primer .45 Starline brass, I just need to shoot pistols more often.
44 Special snub nose are neat, and overlooked. It's a man stopper at close range, similar to a .45. I'm also curious on your groups and data at the range. I have tested Power Pistol powder in my .45 and .38 Super, and velocity was great and a bit of flash. I like fireballs at the end of my...
Lack of expansion due to low velocity on the 220 round nose. I'm curious on its expansion if pushed at max velocity.
130 TTSX is not bad at all, despite it losing all its petals. How fast were you pushing the 130 TTSX?
