I got word that WBY shipped my 25 RPM so this weekend will be the 25 RPM (if I get the bases in time from Midway) and RL 26 with the 325 Maximus. According to Quickload they should break 3100 fps. We will see.

That makes perfect sense to me sir. With 175's the standard 1:9.5 twist will do great.

Unless you're going to be using 195 gr 7mm bullets a 1:9 is good. Heck it will do ok with even 180 gr ELDM's.

Which rifle Vince? A mercury recoil reducer in the stock is not a bad idea also. I may have one I am not using somewhere.

I used the 108 ELDM's and the 90 gr ELDX's. I have killed game with both and they are great. Lever evolution is the powder of choice here. CFE223 is a close second...pending on rifle of course.

I recently own an Athlon Rangecraft, an FX True Ballistic (my Fave), a chrony Beta, and and a Competition Electronics DLX. I have had the Labradar and several Oehlers. I always shoot with one when working up a load and yes the paper and pencil is always on the bench next to it.
