Ive read through this a couple times. Still not sure I get where it falls in the scheme of things between the 25-06 and 257 Bee. (Just cant keep the numbers straight tonight) I can see that a 100 Gr TTSX @3300 FPS is gonna do it. Still, too many cartridges so close together in performance...

Great link and good advice. Last year, I helped a quadaplegic try and get set up for deer hunting. His original injury was from a fall from a deer stand. From what I remember it was 10 feet up or less. Be careful! CL BTW- thats one tough, motivated deer hunter. Dont know if I would....

Dad used Speers exclusively (not sure if they were always Hot Core's) in the 7mm Mag. Initially they were super accurate. In later years he complained that the rifle would no longer shoot. Could have been any number of potential issues. I know that 130 Gr speer boat tails were deadly on...

Basket weave is akin to checkering a rifle stock IMHO. All my attempts ended up in the scrap pile. Nice work! CL

80 gr TTSX could be your Huckleberry. 87 Gr Speers are common lately but they are lead, Anyway, they do work well in this one. It has a 1in 14 twist. Havent tried 100 gr's in this one, Factory core lokts are a 2-3 inch group. but not key holing. CL
