Got out to the range and this time took the chrono. 130gr AB 59grs H4831sc R-P case WLR primer 3.320" OAL I know I screwed up the second group. Pulled the shot. Fired six rounds over the chrono in the following order: 3110 < cold bore 3102 3078 3064 3058 3082

Dan, I have only used BT on deer so this will be my first time with AB. Hoping to get a chance at elk as well this season, so feel more confident with the bonded bullet. I have owned quite a few rifles, and must say the M70 sure feeds nice and smooth. Ian

Thanks guys. I really like this rifle, especially the trigger. Never used the AB on game yet, so looking forward to the season for hopefully a successful result. I did try RL22 with the Hornady BTSP. Shot not too bad, but nowhere near the BT or AB.

Yes, it sure likes the Accubond. I am heading out again and this time will run the load over the chrono. Mine has a 22" barrel, so might be around 3050 or so.

I know the feeling. My eyesight isn't what it used to be, and I'm 50. I might go with a 4-16. I used to have a Nikon Monarch 3 and was a nice scope.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for the chrono) I didn’t get speeds. I picked up some 120BT and 130 GameChangers and going to drop my charges down and work up slowly. My data was from QL, and I did start at the lower end of the scale but I guess not low enough. Stopped shooting when the primer...

Update.... Got out to the range yesterday and I need to go back to the drawing board with loads...lol Loads were a tad on the hot side and had a blown primer. Was using RL22 and the following bullets. Hornady 129 SP Swift 130 Scirocco Berger 140 VLD Patterned like a shotgun except for the 129.

Excuse the request, but would anyone have the latest loading manual from Swift? I am looking for 6.5x55 data using the 130gr Scirocco II. Just wanted to compare to QL predictions.
