    Ramshot magnum

Thanks POP... good to know I'm right in the ball park with my load. Shot the 60 grain load over the chronny last night... out of my 24" Lilja pipe the avg. velocity was 3168 with an SD of 10fps... I think it'll be my coyote load for the season.

.25-06 w/ 115 Bergers and Ramshot Magnum... works for me.

    243 95 grain BT?

Killed a bunch of the goats (tougher than any whitetail on the planet) inside 100 yards... two at less than 30... full penetration everytime. The pig (150#s) I shot was also just inside 100 yards... blew-up both lungs... baseball size exit... sausage baby.

    25.06 loads

I shot that same load ( 57.o RE-19) for a long time... but my new favorite 85 grain NBT load is 58.o Ramshot Hunter for just over 3600 out of my 24" Lilja pipe. NOT FUR FRIENDLY!

    243 95 grain BT?

I've shot a bunch of stuff with the 95 NBT out of my 6mm Rem.... Muleys, pronghorn, coyotes, a bunch of ferel goats and sheep (which are mighty tough I might add)... even one ferel pig that was wrecking havoc on a neighbors garden. Everything I've shot with one of those nasty little pills went...

    2009 Nosler Brass Wish List

How about they just keep up with the current offerings... I can't understand why we're making a wish list for new brass when you can't get a lot of what they 'already make'?

    Retumbo and it's uses

What load are you shooting with the 115s in the 25-06? Been looking at Retumbo, but I'm having a tough time finding it locally.

    223 LOAD FOR YOTES?

RE-25 behind a 100 grainer you say???? I shoot a lot of RE-22 with the 100 NBT... just wondering what load you're shooting in the .25-06, I'm guessing around 58-60 grains? By the way... I shy away from the .223 with any bullet as a general purpose coyote round. Makes a decent enough calling...

How do Collet die sets work and do you recomend using them?

You don't even have to lube the necks.... I've loaded thousands of rounds with my collet dies and have never used any type of case lube. ~josh

    110 gr. 270 WSM loads??

Buddy of mine shoots a lot of the 110 V-Max's out of his Coyote Light in .270 WSM. He runs 56.5 grains of RE-15 for pert'near 3500fps IIRC. That load is pure hell on coyotes and what-not... I suppose an Accu-Bond would be real similar in velocity/trajectory. It shoots pretty flat... but he still...

How do Collet die sets work and do you recomend using them?

Lee Collet dies are all I use anymore. No lube, no pulling on necks, and most importantly... less run-out. You can also use the standard Collet die for Ackley Improved chambers (ie... .280 Rem. for loading .280AI). ~josh

    280 ackley

I split the difference and went with a 25" Lilja #3 on my .280AI. I get 3400 with the 120 NBT (62.5gr RE19) and just under 3200 with the 140 NBT (62.5gr RE22)... I haven't shot any other bullets out of mine. Both are extremely accurate with 100yd 5-shot groups usually going in the .75" range and...

    375 H&H On Whitetails.

The first time I shot a rock with the .375 it became a personal favorite of mine. This deer and another were shot with a buddies .375 AWR custom shop rifle this past October. I can't imagine a better cartridge... it has the clout to handle any task, and with the 260 Accu-bond it has excellent...

    375 H&H On Whitetails.

Ahhhhh... not in my experience! Here's a picture (nearly actuall size) of the ENTRANCE wound into the chest cavity of a large-bodied Blacktail (200+ pounds). Distance was 75 yards, .375 H&H w/260 Accu-Bond @2650... the entire front half of the deer was hammered, and I hit nothing but rib-cage...
