    120 Ballistic Tip / 6.5 Creedmoor

I load these for my 6.5 Grendel at about 2450 fps. I wonder how well they perform at a slower speed. They are extremely accurate. Sent from my SM-A716U using Tapatalk

    6.5 Grendel and 120gr BT's

I don't know for sure. Books and other people with similar powder charges show upper 2400's to low 2500's, which I'd be happy with. I went this route for deer and hogs up to 400 yards and anything further and I'll use my 7mm mag. I really do like it. Fun to shoot and cheap to reload. Sent from...

    6.5 Grendel and 120gr BT's

Yes sir, and the reviews I've seen on this bullet are excellent. I will post results when I have a deer or hog on the ground.

    6.5 Grendel and 120gr BT's

Just a quick post showing that the 120gr BT's shoot really good out of my 18" Bear Creek Arsenal barrel in my AR15. I can't wait to use this on whitetail this year. AR Comp powder is good stuff. Yes, my writing is terrible. I wasn't planning on posting this pic. 6 shots at 100 yards off a bipod...

    2017 Hunting Pictures

Dang, poor fella. Glad he won the battle. My son has 3 classes of dogs. He turns loose his tracking dogs 1st, usually 2. When they strike a track, he catches up to them, they all have Garmin tracking collars, and turns loose the bay dogs, 2. The tracking dogs also help bay the hog. Once the hog...

    2017 Hunting Pictures

Thanks JD338, they sure are. I have lots more pics, but will spare the space. Love this forum and love seeing real hunting from all over. Someday I'll get to hunt something up north.

    2017 Hunting Pictures

Yes sir. That hog pictured above was a little under 300lbs. No photo shop or trickery going on. These suckers are big and mean. He has only killed 1 hog that was probably over 400, but they couldn't get it out to weigh so we'll just call that a tale since we have no pics. Haha. He kills at least...

    2017 Hunting Pictures

Thought I'd share my oldest sons passion. He has around 15 dogs that he hunts wild feral hogs with. He had to prove to the local farmers/ranchers that his dogs would only chase hogs and that he could save them money. He now has access to over 10k private acres here in South Central Texas. Here's...

    243 Winchester and short barrel.....

My wife's gun is a Ruger M77 stainless youth model with either 16.5" or 18" barrel. Factory ammo is barely 2" group. 100 grain Partitions and a medium load of H4831sc made this one bad to the bone, deer slaying tack driver with very little recoil. Very fun gun to shoot. I grew up shooting a...

Thanks again Dr Mike. I really need to get this program. Takes a lot of the guess work out.

    300 Blackout Supersonic Hunting Loads

Thanks Dr Mike. I wonder if these powders would work with 110-150 grain bullets. I have a bunch of these grain bullets on hand and mainly plan on super-sonic shooting. I have a 222 Remington that I use the H4198 for which is why I have several pounds on hand. I need to get the program you use...

    300 Blackout Supersonic Hunting Loads

I'm glad I found this. I just acquired a 300 BLK and gearing up to reload for it. I'll be shooting deer and hogs mainly and was wanting to find some proven loads. Is H4198 a little to slow for this round? I have a bunch of that and some 2400 that I need to use?
