If you’re bored I’ve got plenty of projects for you. Unlike Jim i didn’t spend the winter fire hardening our property. I’ve 200 yards of creek bottom to start work on this morning. Room and board provided.

    Sighting in for different bullets

I have two rifles, my 06 and my 375HH, that will allow me to add or subtract a couple of clicks vertical so that I might switch from one load to another. I havent been able to accomplish that with any of the others and haven’t really tried. I’ve had the 06 combination for 30 years probably, a...

    Made it home to Oregon.

Roger the last section of freeway we had to negotiate is I 84 from Ontario Oregon to Lagrande Oregon. Lot’s of curves and steep grades. The most closed, for weather related crashes, section of freeway in the country. A few years ago we would have pushed through but being retired we have 6...

It’s been a long time since I had much to do with the NRA; however, they use to have quite a library of range plans available designed to meet a wide variety of locations. The best back stop materiel we ever used, at the time, was shredded tires. Department had an indoor range with a steel...

    Made it home to Oregon.

Well we left Arizona Sunday morning at about 1000 hours. 70 degrees and Sunny. Made the north side of Vegas by late afternoon and called it a day. Monday we drove the Great Basin highway. One of the most fascinating drives in the country. As we worked north the wind picked up and the sky was...

    New Member/Loader

Welcome aboard. Last time I used 3031 was about 30 years ago. The case capacity differences between your two cartridges would indicate different powders for each application. I would look for something in the RL 22 burn rate for the seven mag. I have one pound left that I’m saving just for that...
